I’ll do it without you

You don’t know what its like. Is what I wanted to say.

You don’t know what it’s like to have a horrible father. One who is there but not even there. One who rejects your every hint of love. One who pretends you’re not even theirs. I wish I could say you don’t know what it’s like. But unfortunately, so many do. And I wish I could meet all of you. So that we can share the reality of the strengths we hold. And so we show each other our greatness, courage, fierceness without. So we realize it was a blessing in all. We’re meant for the best of this world. Snatch it for yourself, break all barriers.  Rubies take years of light to shine bright, and diamonds are forged from the fire’s might. Gold with melting and burning is purified, don’t you understand that is why your shine is so much more bright. Your father won’t pick you up to reach the sky, my darling you’ll have to learn to fly.

Story part 1 (Untitled)

It took weeks for the fever to subside into a moderate cough. Moderate meaning that a single wheeze and she would spill blood from her throat. She told me it was a lot more painful to watch than it felt. She always told me that she didn’t hurt, everything was ok, she’d be ok. She lied often. It happened with the coldest breeze when our shutters broke from the blistering wind, and we had no money nor wood to repair it in time. She was lulled to sleep by the cold night’s wind, and by the morning the snow had stopped her heart. She was gone…
I hated liars. I hated her for leaving me. It was a selfish hate, the most fiery of sorts, and I hated everything that rendered me unable to help her.
I watched my last friend die right before me. Unable to do anything for her, I felt useless, helpless, and pathetic all in one. She was the only thing I had cherished at all, and she was gone all in a night too long and a life too short.

Indeed, beauty is not in any being nor is it in any object alone. Beauty is in every atom. Beauty is a breath of the finest particles manifested by the finest of Manifestors. Beauty is in every beam of light that strikes the depths of the eye, in every image inverted by the complex system of blood and brains. Beauty is an objective summation of every natural bit that accumulates your very existence. Beauty is not it, nor they, nor he, nor she. Beauty just…is.

“That which God said to the rose, and caused it to laugh in full-blown beauty, He said to my heart, and made it a hundred times more beautiful.”

Intoxicating Wine

Greatness is boiling within you.

It is a concoction of your skills, capabilities, and your persistence.

Greatness follows you wherever you go.

It wraps itself around your shoulders and drapes your being as your every step spills a majestic aura.

Greatness drips from your mouth as you expel your gold, richness escapes you.

Let the world drink from the cup of your mind

Intoxicating wine.

“Run away from greatness, and greatness will follow you.” – Abu Bakr Siddique (ra)

Stick to Reality

“You seek the easy route of enthrallment. You keep seeking it from something that you know can never match reality.Something that only sucks your time and life right out of you.”

“What do you suggest I do?”

“Understand. Understand that the lack of reality that which you have spiraled yourself into only leaves you on a path that takes you backwards, although it has the illusion of moving forward. It has stunted your growth although it may seem beneficial for a short time. Build upon your reality. Look up! Build upon yourself and the people around you. You fear that people will read your story by gazing into your eyes, rid yourself of that fear and display your story with the twinkle in your smile. You have submerged yourself into your electronic device and it has caused death beyond death. You are amongst the walking dead, whilst everything around you breathes life. By the time you look up, away from your phone..all time and opportunities will be gone. I suggest you look up now, and understand.”

“You’re right…you always are.”

“So… what do you plan to do?

“Excel. I think it’s time to make my reality where I shine.”

As expressed by Imam Hassan Al-Banna,

“Time is life itself.” This reflects Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah’s saying: “One’s time is in fact his age. It is the material of his eternal life either in everlasting joy or painful torture. It passes more quickly than clouds do. It is only the time one dedicates to Allah that constitutes one’s real life and age. The rest does not count; the life he leads in it is only animal life. Compared to a life of indulgence in appetitive activities, false aspirations and negligence of Allah’s remembrance – and at best in sleep and being idle – death is a much better alternative.”

There’s a coworker that came back to the US from Mexico after vacation and she has been sick for about a week or two. I had to take her seat as I was the next person on her station. So I’m not 100% sure how this thought crossed my mind, as I tend to be oblivious to how many of the thoughts that cross my mind begin, I thought to myself… it’d be one heck of a blessing to get sick in Ramadan.

Literally an hour later… I’m sick.

SubhanAllah :’)

I can’t stop laughing at this LOOL Alhamdulillah. omg

idk, sometimes these tiny incidents that can perhaps be considered mini miracles happen to cross your path. And when they do, nothing solidifies your belief and lightens your heart like them, but there isn’t a soul to understand how such a small thing has affected your belief. It’s inexplicably amazing. I understand some would scoff and say it’s likely just some coincidence, but again, when so many incidents just happen to occur to you it becomes a thing between you and Allah alone. And it’s a beautiful bond, a blessed understanding.

Amazing moments, all with the Qadr of Allah…

Ibn Mas’ud said:

“I visited the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, while he had a fever. I exclaimed:

‘O Messenger of Allah! You have a high fever! ‘ He said:

‘My fever is as much as two among you [might have]. ‘I asked: ‘Is it because you have a double reward?’ He replied: ‘Yes, that is right. No Muslim is afflicted with any hurt, even if it is no more than the pricking of a thorn, but Allah wipes off his sins because of it and his sins fall away from him as leaves fall from a tree’.”
